Clara Heinrich was born in Hainburg a. d. Donau in 1993 and grew up in Gols. She studied political science in Vienna and Berlin. Then literary writing at Deutsches Literaturistitut Leipzig. Since October 2021 Master’s programme at Institut für Sprachkunst in Vienna. She has also worked in various environmental and agricultural NGOs in Berlin. Clara Heinrich publishes poetry and journalistic texts in magazines and newspapers. She was a participant in Open Poems, a finalist in Open Mike, a scholarship holder at the Klagenfurt Literature Course and won the Burgenland Literature Prize 2021.
