Ana Tcheishvili was born in 1993 in Tbilisi, Georgia, and grew up there. She studied psychology and liberal arts in Tbilisi, Berlin and Leipzig. Her essays and prose texts have been published on Georgian-language literary platforms. Between 2013 and 2020, she was involved as an author in the feminist-literary performance series “Salon Tbilisi-Berlin”.
She is currently working as a psychologist and studying at the Deutsches Literaturinstut Leipzig. She mainly writes poetry in German and Georgian and publishes in German-language literary journals (e.g. “JENNY”, “Manuskripte”). Her first volume of poetry in the form of a chapbook will be published by Verlagshaus Berlin in summer 2024.
