She is obsessed with memories, of childhood – they pervade and elude, an ebb and flow that is characteristic of her longing for the sea. Her story She’s a Tank, a Battalion, a Banyan won the Short Fiction/University of Essex International Short Story Prize 2021. She was shortlisted for the Indiana Review Fiction Prize 2021, Radical Art Review Contest 2021, Berlin Writing Prize 2019, and longlisted for the Desperate Literature Short Fiction Prize 2021.
