Petrič, Tanja
Tanja Petrič is a freelance literary critic, literary translator from German, editor and head of international projects in the field of translation and literature. She has been coordinating and leading international translation seminars for Slovenian literature since 2010. She has translated authors such as B. Brecht, M. M. Flašar, F. Hoppe, N. Kermani, A. Kim, J. Lüscher, F. Mayröcker, E. Menasse, R. Menasse, A. Schwarzenbach and J. Wagner into Slovenian. She has received several grants and awards for her work as a translator and critic, including the “Lirikonov zlát” (2011) for her translations of German poetry and the translation award from the Austrian Federal Ministry of Arts and Culture (2013 and 2016).
