Collectives are sprouting up all around us. And we, too, long for complicity, want to form gangs. The collective can be a safe space for exchange, criticism and practice. A step between the drawer and a larger audience. A place where common ideas can be formed and captured in an open and multi-perspective way.

Where does this desire for collective structures come from? And what influence do they have on the creative workflow? How does a text change in a shared space? Does anything here still belong to me? How does a poetry collective relate to the literary establishment, and does the lyric form hold a particular collective potential?

Stix Omar has produced five studio albums and an online soap opera with Max Boss in the multidisciplinary project EASTER, and has worked with friends, choreographers and directors in music, performance, fashion and film.

Hannah Schraven, Anja Engst, and Sara Hauser are members of the poetry collective ad hoc, which discusses texts and explores collective writing practices and performative formats of poetry presentation. We hear solo works by the three and talk about their individual writing in the context of the group.

The newly formed collective fährten, currently stretching between Berlin, Leipzig and Vienna, has developed a group performance especially for the evening.
