Savannah Sipho

Savannah Sipho is a Berliner Spoken Word Poetess. She has been performing for many events across Berlin including as part of the “Wicked Poetry Slam”, the “Poetry Meets Series”, the Berlin “decolonial flâneries” (Dekoloniales Flanieren) by NAWAS as well as at “The Penguin Bar” which was part of the “Berliner Festspiele 2023”. Some of her works have been published in “Sisters&Souls 2- Neue Inspirationen by May Ayim”. Her poem “Inspirational Ayim-Gazes that Matter” was broadcast on the Germany wide radio station “Deutschlandfunk Nova”. Identity, black history, the diversity of feelings, racism and the inspiration of life as a black woman in Berlin are recurring themes in Savannah Sipho’s texts.
