Hannah Abdullahi is a Malagasy-Somali researcher, writer and cultural practitioner. Her work focuses on gender equality, racial justice and community building. Her practice is multidisciplinary and spans across writing, theatre, archival work and visual storytelling. She sees storytelling as a way to decolonise knowledge production, archive the present and create alternative belief systems. She was a resident artist at “documenta 15” where she performed her poetry series “Black Paradise”. Her writing can be found in the “Radical Imaginations Lab Journal”, “Metropolis M” and various independent publications.
