Nina Dragičević, born 1984 in Novo mesto, is a Slovenian poet, sound artist and essayist, living in Ljubljana. Dragičević’s poetry is characterized not only by its experimental forms and social commitment, but also by its polyphony and multi-layered use of language. She is the author of the long poem “Ljubav reče greva” (Škuc 2019, Eng.: Love says, let’s go) in which a female lyrical subject deals with questions of Identity and corporality, and the poetry book “Ampak, kdo?” (Škuc 2023, Eng.: But, who?), in which she deals with the construction of persons under the pressure of society. Dragičević is the recipient of the 2023 Werner Düttmann Fellowship and the 2023 Dr Ana Mayer Kansky Award.
