Ruveyda uses lyrical and musical elements to speak about her identity as a young Muslim-read diaspora woman. With her art, she combines her origin and culture and negates all social and political contradictions/prejudices in her passion. The Anatolian singer and spoken word artist uses music and poetry to heal her experiences especially as a diaspora woman and brings them on stage and to the audience in the form of a spiritual and healing process. The combination of Turkish, English and German is meant to achieve a diverse, intimate and well-feeling atmosphere and move the audience with a unique, emotional and healing performance.
