Mahmod, Miedya
Has been working with paper & stage poetry since 2016, writes, finances herself with writing workshops & moderations. Lives somewhere. They are part of the post-German collective parallelgesellschaft, which curated, organised & filled 7 reading stage shows with their own texts in Neukölln last year alone. In 2023 they received the poetry prize at open mike & honourable mention from the audience jury. 2024 they are part of the exhibition KÖRPER:SPRACHEN (Burg Hülshoff) & Hauskünstler:in there. Mahmod lives with a disability, without an academic degree & remains, also abinary, daughter of a Peshmerga/bus driver & a Kurdish bakery saleswoman.
