Jannes Hansen, born 1997 in Oranienburg, lives in Potsdam. The lyrical travel diary “Poesia – Das Feuer des Südens” was published in July 2020. Since Jan. 2023, Hansen has been sending out the POESIE-ABO – a monthly delivery service for poems written on an Optima typewriter. The debut EP “Sonne sehn” with German-language songs was released in April 2023. In Aug. 2023, Hansen won 1st prize at the “Long Night of Poetry” organized by the Literaturkollegium Potsdam. Since Feb. 2024, the author has been exhibiting poems monthly in the poetry showcase of the art café “11-Line”.

Vocations – open space 2024 will organise four evenings of radically open transdisciplinary experiments and collaborations at the interface between music, sound and poetry at silent green Kulturquartier’s event space Kuppelhalle (29.5. / 8.7. / 9.10. / 3.12.). As a meeting place for Berlin’s contemporary poetry and music scenes, Vocations offers an open space to up to twenty artists to perform at any one time, combining a wide variety of musical and vocal practices based on or rooted in poetry.
