Beckmann, Hannah
Hannah Beckmann (*1993) studied medicine in Hamburg, currently literary writing in Leipzig, and works in child and adolescent psychiatry. Since completing her doctorate on the subject of dissociation, she has favoured writing fiction. Her artistic work has been published in the magazines “metamorphosen” and “Akzente”, has been shown at “4+1-ein treffen junger autorInnen” at Schauspiel Leipzig and has been broadcast as a radio play on Deutschlandfunk Kultur. In 2024, Hannah is the winner of the “Textstreich” competition, organised by the Haus für Poesie, “LITERAARE” and “manuskripte”.
